The Story
When God asked all the animals to come to the banquet he also asked some that were in America. The animals in America, who went to the banquet the day after the ones in Japan, were known as the Un-Protected. Those attending the banquet were: the Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Sheep/Ram, Monkey, Rooster, Dog, and Boar. All came except for the cat who was tricked by the rat and missed the banquet.
In Japan, those cursed to turn into the animals above were known as the Sohmas. Those cursed in America were known as Yagami. Neither family is aware of the others existence. Until one day some of the Yagamis start to move back to Japan since some of their ancestors lived there. That is were this story takes place.
